All right, this is my gripe page.

You know what I am talking about, all the stuff that just irks you! I cover a great range here and say it how it is.

 

My Gripes

 

Crack berries - People that cannot set their smart phone devices down for any reason.

 

They cannot have a conversation with you without looking at who just emailed them, or they will stop talking to you because their Smart phone just dinged them, or you go to lunch and instead of visiting with each other, everyone sits there and plays games and cruises the internet, or you are in a meeting and everyone is on their smart phones instead of paying attention. I am not a user of a smart phone! I see how much time people waste around me using these devices. I also see just how dependent people are becoming on them and it concerns me. I just wonder how much lost productivity time is happening around me anymore.

 

 

Getting fricken old “Rrrrrrrrr”. My get up and go has finally got up and went, really it sucks.

It used to be you could not hold me down and I would be flying 24/7 doing something. Nowadays, I have to force myself to do anything, what happen to me? I am only 53! Have I finally run out of gas?

 

Airline seats.  Come on people, we are not midgets! I am 6 feet 3 inches tall, weight 245 lbs., my chest is larger than my waist line by 4 inches. When I sit down in a normal seat it wedges my a*& between the dividers and my knees are stuck up against the seat in front of me. Please give us that extra 2-3 inches of leg room, and put us 5 of us across the plane, I’ll pay the difference for the room and I think most Americans would too! What’s it going to add, 50-100 per person, per flight? Hell, we are being beat up now with costs, just charge us!

 

Airline baggage fees. This charge amazes me, and I see they are going to start charging us for carry-ons? Example: United Airlines, from Denver to Wichita. Flight costs 200 round trip, my fricken bags cost 110 RT! How the hell do you get this way? Really!

 

Our elected officials of every sort and kind. Wow, have you all heard of cutting costs across the board or is that something that you just cannot imagine? Here we all are in a recession, cutting our own budgets and you all are spending money like there is no tomorrow. Hello! We need to cut all government budgets for the next 10 years by 10% each year, or until the taxes currently fricken imposed on us catches up with the amount we are in the red.

 

 

Just a mess!

 

Solution for all of this? = 4 year term limits on all politicians in any one position. Yes, you can work yourself up through the ranks with 4 years in each place along the way, and when you finally loose or fill your last term, you are out of there!

 

No more power bases! Can you just imagine getting real Americans into positions and voting on stuff? Wow, we might see the Real USA come back!
